HotList: World’s Hottest Rockstar review

Looking for a finely selective gallery of hot female musicians? HotList: World’s Hottest Rockstar (VIP Pass) might be the answer to your prayers. Containing 101 artists categorized by the genres to which they belong, Hotlist adds an interactive angle to their galleries by making it a game of sorts.

The “game” starts out with “Pop” stars, each complete with an extensive biography and a generous gallery of well-chosen pictures. All of them are listed under a genre. After completing the ratings for those in the Pop genre, the next (and following) genres/rounds is unlocked for you to rate and peruse. After rating, the app will show you the average score compared to your votes and you can return to any of them to re-view and change your rating. I really am impressed with the quality and choice of pictures chosen for each of the artists and with 101 of them, there is more than enough to keep you occupied for a good while.

Interface is pretty slick and easy to navigate through, although loading times may be just a little bit on the slow side. Also in the app is the “Get Music” option for each artist which will take you to the artist’s iTunes Store listing.

Considering the amount of image gallery apps in the App Store today, Underground Labs has really done a good job of making their app stand out from the rest of them. You can find HotList in the App Store for $1.99.
