Where’s Waldo? the classic book based game from British illustrator Martin Handford has been ported over to a fun iPhone game. The Fantastic Journey is the ultimate hidden object adventure for all ages, as players scour the virtual globe in search of Waldo and friends! There are hundreds of hidden items for players to find within twelve different magical worlds.
The game supports up to 6 customizable profiles for you to choose from where your journey settings are saved. This way each time you start the game over again, you start over where you left off that last time. The sound effects and soundtrack are very festive and entertaining. The graphics are pretty much the same as you remember them from the Wally/Waldo books but now with some animations for added fun.
To play you just tap on the picture that you want to find. Each level has about 5 to 6 items for your to locate. The gameplay is timed however, so unlike the book version, you’de better be quick or you’ll run out of time. If you do ever get stuck you can tap on the little dog on the right side of the page and he will throw up some sparks in the area of your item to clue you in.
If you were a fan Where’s Waldo as a kid or want to give the kids something fun to play, Where’s Waldo? The Fantastic Journey is a good choice. With over 133MB of amazing drawings, hundreds of hidden items, and 12 different magical worlds, there’s enough to keep you busy for a few weeks.
