Moto X Mayhem is a physics based moto cross racing game for the iPhone. Not as much a racing game as it is a finesse game, you are faced with 7 stages of bone breaking back bending hills, valleys, and bumps. You are atop a dirt bike and you control the throttle and break by tapping to the right and left of the screen. Additionally you can lean your rider to the front or back by simply tilting the iPhone to the left or right. Combining these 4 attributes can be challenging at first. To climb a steep hill, for example you’ll want to throttle to the max and lean forward all the way. If you master the basics you can even do some pretty cool back flips, and wheelies if you time things just right. Each stage gets a little bit more intense and difficult and adds new obstacles as well. The background soundtrack fills in with soothing nature sounds including humming and chirping birds and steady rocking beats to get you hyped up for the game.
The rider as well as the bike both are sensitive to the movements of the iPhone and respond quite nicely to getting banged around. You get 5 lives to finish all 7 stages. Unfortunately, stages don’t have a checkpoint, so if you die on the very last jump, you will have to start all over. It can take a few tries before you start to get the hang of it, so don’t give up too soon. There is a practice area where you can play all stages and get a feel for the game. You can also adjust the sensitivity of the tilt in the options menu. Try a very low setting at first as you try to get used to the game. Moto X Mayhem is a challenging physics based game worth every penny, and will have you coming back time and time again, to try and master it as you learn to control your bike. We hope the developer adds additional stages and longer tracks in the next release.

Hello,
it is always refreshing to read honest and sincere reviews. We very much like your approach to writing them: they are very professional, highly informative. To add video to the review is simply a great approach all the way around! Your site is wonderfully put. You must really enjoy to review games 🙂
We are a small team here at FingerArts and are about to release our first game to the App Store. It would be great if you could take the time to review it as well. We have not opened our website to the public eye just yet. Luigi (our developing brain behind the game) has been working on it for 8 months now and we are all ready to ‘let it go’ so to speak.
When the time arrives, we would very much like to fill out your form to submit our game to you. Please apologize the rather unconventional way to contact you, but I couldn’t locate easily a direct email, and I wanted to touch base with you ahead of time.
I am looking forward to be in touch again soon! In the mean time, we’ll be coming back to read more reviews!
Many Thanks,
Isabella
