Welcome to the world of food cleaning. Take a chicken, vulture, sheep, or bears and throw them wildly into the air! Then you take your butcher’s sword and cut them all in a row!! The way the game works is that animals of all different species are launched into screen. You can slice and cut them by sliding your finger across the screen and if you slice more than just one animal, you’ll get combo points for it. On later levels, the animals shoot up in patterns and formations that you can take advantage of to get ridiculous combos for slashing them all viciously. If any animal falls without being skinned through your slashes, you lose a life and you only have 3 lives, so be alert and slice quickly. Bombs are randomly spawned however and you have to slash around them without actually touching it to avoid blowing yourself up and hitting instant Game-Over.

The graphics are absolutely great. High detail, great coloring, solid art style, and the animals all look really good. I really appreciated the design of the comic book style cutscenes and the sense of humor this game presents. Even looking at the images in the AppStore was great fun. The sound effects and music are surprisingly bombastic and fun and they work well with the graphics to create a uniquely entertaining app.

I really liked Cut Cut Boom Pro and its hilarious introduction cutscene was pretty much just tells you that the main character chef is a bastard, and I loved it. Great fun, great game mechanics, and great art, Cut Cut Boom Pro is a solid game app and you should play it. That’s right, simple and clear: YOU SHOULD BE PLAYING THIS.
