Frisbee Forever review

Frisbee Foreever is a really fun free game for the iPhone, iPod touch and iPad from Kiloo. Frisbee Forever is one of the best freemium based apps you’ll probably find with a really addictive and exciting type of racing style gameplay. You launch a frisbee and maneuver it through a series of hoops as you try and crush a ton of obstacle filled levels. You collect stars along the way and use them to unlock items and new worlds. You also have to option of paying for stars via in-app purchases if you want to skip the wait.

The gameplay in Frisbee Forever is a lot like a racing game but with a 3D feel. I would say it’s probably like racing a hovercraft or something like a Star Wars type racer game, except for you’re controlling a flying frisbee through a course. The speed of the game is really fast, which gives it its addictive adrenaline type quality. Controls can be set to either tilt or touch based buttons. The physics based gameplay is a lot more difficult it this game, so I recommend you start with the virtual buttons to begin.

Courses in Frisbee Forever are really well thought out and filled with challenging twists and turns. Each time you pass through a ring your frisbee gets a small boost, enough to carry you to the next ring. Don’t miss any rings, because you’ll lose speed and slowly fall to the ground. There are no checkpoints in the game either which makes the levels a bit more intense. The rings are not all vertically on the same height, so you’ll be going up and down for added thrills. Another interesting feature is that you don’t actually see the entire course when you begin. Most of the time you see maybe one or two rings ahead of you at any time so you have to think on your feet. There are really sharp corners, smooth curves and some gnarly back and forth turns as well.

Obstacles include natural items used in the design of the course like buildings, light poles, trees, ships, cars, cactuses, carriages and more. There are also blowing fans that can mess you up along the way. Finally you have the triangle hoops that have a super speed booster path. The music in each world is slightly different to match the theme. The graphics are super clean and colorful.

There are 9 worlds total plus a stage full of bonus levels. You are rewarded stages in the bonus stage when you reach secret spots in the game. You also earn various trophies and can earn or buy 100 Frisbees to play with. Here are all the levels in the Frisbee Forever game:

Frisbee Forever is a really addictive game that is hard not to fall in love with quickly. Just be careful that you don’t end up spending too much money on buying the stars.
