To shoot the basketball, just put your fingers on the basketballs and flick up to make your free throws. Depending on which game you choose you either get 2 or 3 points for each shot made.

Updates: 4 additional skins have been added including doodle, space, and zombie, as well as ability to challenge friends and play your own music. Skyworks has also released an iPad version of the game called Arcade Hoops HD ($1.99).

4. This game is totally addictive. I find myself playing it whenever I have a few minutes. The graphics are also great…much more polished than other iPhone games I’ve seen or played. Definitely worth the money.

5. I just played Arcade Hoops from Skyworks. Great version of the classic pop-a-shot. Fun graphics, with two modes—Classic mode keeps the basket in place and Progressive mode moves the hoop. Tip—just grab the ball and shoot, the hands follow. A ton of fun and value at $1.99.

10. I have to admit I only this game because I wanted something cheap that I could play quickly, but I got much more than I bargained for. This game gets addicting really quickly and I can’t stop playing it. I’m super excited about it, but I don’t need exclamation points to tell you that.

11. This game is great! I took this to the basketball game the other night and played it during the half-time intermission. The guys behind me saw it, I let them try it and now they are going to get it. A really fun and easy game to play. Who’s that kid in the YouTube review? He’s not good at the game because I can easily score 3 times as much as he.
