Touch Ski 3D review

Touch Ski 3D is a great 3D skiing app for the iPhone. Touch Ski 3D employs a innovative control scheme. Play with two fingers, with one finger controlling each ski independently.

Choose from 2 modes: Race or Jump. The first time you start you can choose from 4 easy levels and as you finish those new levels will be unlocked in the other categories, of medium, hard, and finally extreme. You must get a local high score on all courses of each level to unlock the next level up.

As the name suggests, Touch Ski 3D is controlled by touching two fingers on the screen, 1 per ski. Place your fingers about 1 inch apart and keep them parallel for max speed. We found it easier to use two thumbs on the iPhone as it helps to hold the device and ski at the same time. Turning slows you down, so try to make smooth turns, but if you ever slow down to the point of stopping, just move left and right a few times to get moving again.

In the jump mode, all you need to do is keep your skis pointed forward and parallel, and let go your fingers once you hit the red jump line. It sounds easier than it really is, because it takes lots of coordination to get the perfect stance on your skis.

The is realistic snow sound effects as your ski down the hill. Touch Ski 3d is an innovative and challenging iPhone game that is sure to keep your fingers busy and happy for quite some time.
