Liquipel is a brand new technology announced at CES 2012 that amazingly waterproofs the iPhone without a cover, but with just an application of a type of coating to the device.

This is a video demo of an iPhone 4 being submerged in water after the Liquipel nano-coating has been applied, which not only waterproofs the exterior of the device but also its interiors.
