Britannica Online (iPhone Edition) has come to your iPhone and iPod touch! The mobile version of Britanica which is only available on your iPhone or iPod touch Safari browser. Tapping on search displays a pop-up search box, allowing you to enter your search term. Results are loaded in a nice iPhone format and articles are presented simply for iPhone viewing. All images in the stories are iPhone optimized and load quite fast. This is a great reference app to bookmark on your iPhone or iPod touch. A great alternative until Wikipedia becomes fully iPhone optimized. Current Wikipedia related iPhone apps are Wapedia, iPodia and iWiki.app.
