The Sloshspot application does a number of things for social people who enjoy going out to different bars, nightlife events, and concerts. The app interfaces with sloshspot.com, so you can locate bars and events around you in real time, see who else is going to be there, and add yourself as a regular or say you are attending tonight to create a community around the bar and meet new people. You also are eligible to receive free drinks and other specials from bars by attending.

So… I was wondering if this is ever going to be accessible to anyone in the US. I mean, the concept seems useful, especially since I’m moving away for grad school, and considering the fact that the state in particular that I’m moving to is the size of a large European country, I’d say it might be more useful to someone in my position, than someone who only has to take a 20 minute train ride to get to the next country… Just saying. I love the concept, would love to see it available in the US, but it’d be really awesome if when/if that happened this app didn’t magically go from being free to costing $5… Please.
