Wanna watch tonight’s UFC 109 on your iPhone? Grab the UFC iPhone app from MobiTV, and you can buy the PPV shows right from the app and watch them on the go. You can also view past videos and check out the UFC ladies.
UFC subscribers can watch live and video on demand videos on Wi-Fi, 3G and Edge networks. Video quality sucks on EDGE, so make sure you’ve got good coverage.
Ultimate Fighting Championship on the iPhone also features fighter videos, news highlights, the Octagon Girl photos, a schedule for all upcoming UFC events and the ability to watch LIVE pay-per-view fights. The app needs some work however and it would be great to have fighter profiles, stats and more bio data added.
Important Notes: This app doesn’t support TV Out, so if you’re hoping to wire your iPhone to your TV and watch the fight on your TV, look elsewhere. Also, you have to have the latest iPhone OS and Wi-Fi for good quality videos. Pay Per View UFC fights cost around $46 each.

The app is good if you want to know who’s on the fight card, but if you want to find out statistics on the fighters or on past fights by the fighter, other than weather they won or lost, forget about it! It won’t tell you any real technical information. Some real work needs to be done with this app.
