Music Dreamer review

Music Dreamer is a timer app that works with your iPod music library. I love this app. Specifically, it’s for those of us who like to sleep to music without wanting our iPhones or iPod touches to run completely out of battery by the time we wake up (it does not say it’s compatible with iPad, but it might). This app is released by Wondershare Software Co., Ltd.

The features on this app all work really well. You have the ability to basically access your iPod songs, set playlists, set repeat settings, and a shake to skip to the next song feature. This app’s main function is the timer features. You can set the time of how long you want the iPhone to keep playing music, up to 24 hours, in which the app will auto shut down and leave your iPhone in power-save mode. You can delay it or advance the exit time on the fly and in the last 3 minutes, the app will actually reduce the volume.

This app actually has art! The Panda and Japanese bamboo/moonlight wallpaper is nice. The sleeping panda is cute, the art is simple and not busy, and the icon is very nice, with that giant panda face sleeping. I really like it.

I never ran into bugs or crashes, I never had a problem with the app, and I use it every night since I downloaded it. It’s awesome. Only for people who like to sleep to music however. I play softer, more soothing music to fall asleep. The random Slayer or Metallica song will startle you right out of your relaxation. Trust me.

The best part of this app? It downloads for free. Free insomnia/OCD/night-time distraction tool that features auto-shutdown after you fall asleep!? Awesome!
