Robota softwarehouse have released iSpit, the small & easy HTTP Server, which can enable you to share files right from your iPhone. After installing the app you just point your browser to 192.168.0.2 and you will see a list of the file system on the iPhone. It is easy to turn the server on or off from the app settings.
There are other HTTP servers for the iPhone. iSpit is very easy to set up and get going. Having quick access to the files on your iPhone is very handy. You can, if you wish, install the Apache httpd daemon on your iPhone; but it’s quite a load and not easy to turn on and off.
Get it via installer.app with the Ste Packaging source.
Use iPhone mods and hacks at your own risk! Installing 3rd Party iPhone apps requires you to jailbreak the iPhone before installing the native software and apps. You can use Installer.app for Mac OSX and iBrickr for Windows PC to do this. Browse the full list of all iPhone and iPod touch native 3rd party apps filed under the software category.
