Copy and Paste on the iPhone first came out with the release of the MagicPad app, but now a developer named Zac White has found a way to share that functionality across any app that adopts this feature. There are already a bunch of apps that have added support for OpenClip.
So going forward as new apps adopt this feature you will be able to copy and past content on the iPhone. Check out this video from GeekBrief.tv for a demo of copying content from the Twitter app to the WordPress app.
Until Apple adds system wide copy/paste functionality, this will not work in Apple produced apps on the iPhone but it is nevertheless exciting to say the least.
