WiFi Speed Meter is a web app for your iPhone that helps you determine your wireless internet connection speed, using an advanced mathematical model. WiFiSpeed allows you to take repeated measurements and it will continuously average your result with the previous ones, for a more accurate reading. As soon as the standard deviation is within 10%, you will be advised that you are now very close to the real value. The data-chunk used to measure your speed, is randomly generated at every measurement in way which prevents it from being cached or compressed, to prevent any result distortion. A standard statistical method is being used in order to make sure that you result is as close as possible to the real value, given the fact that any internet connection doesn’t have a constant speed.
