IM+ for Skype for iPhone allows you to enjoy Skype functionality on your iPhone. You may stay online no matter where you are, chat with your friends and colleagues and call/receive calls at a low cost. Here is a nice article on this app.

Recently this app has moved to a new domain name and is now out of Beta. For a limited time IM+ for Skype is free to use. The service uses a simple Internet protocol. 4. I think Skype is the best thing since sliced bread; but the application needs to be available from the Skype.com site as I have noticed so many flaws in the 3rd party apps that allow access to the Skype. Anyone think Skype will have a download for iPhones etc… ?

7. Why I can’t call for free from my iPhone (skype) to another skype adress ? I hope someone can help me with that !

10. Hmm. i dunno, i have a skype subscription, no credit… and a new 3g iphone, and I just spent an hour via skype talking to my mum without any problems. So it can definitely be done, keep digging.
    Sadly I’m not very techy minded so can’t offer any solutions, just the knowledge that it can definitely work.

11. I think the latest update to the application fixed the problem with not being able to make calls when you have a subscription but no credit. Oh well, at least I have credit to call some of the guys I work with from India now.
