Pianofly Pro Synth review

Pianofly is a great music instrument app for the iPhone or iPod touch with a scrolling piano keyboard. Drag the keyboard to quickly reach all 88 keys, even while you’re playing for scales or long runs. Additionally, Pianofly offers dozens of instrument sounds like guitar, trumpet, violin, and many more, which you can customize using icons for quick and easy access.

Double tap on an instrument to open this sound edit panel. Tap on the check mark in the top right corner to close it. This sound uses two of the three nodes available (Tapping on the blue plus sign will add the third). The green slider in the middle is set to the frequency being played (whatever key you play on the piano) while the red node is set to a wavelength twice as long (an octave below the note being played). The red node on top is modulating the green node to create a rich timbre full of overtones.
