Parachute Panic review

The Sharks are Hungry and they wanna eat your Parachuting guys. Can you say PANIC? Parachute Panic is a simple fun iPhone game drawn on wrinkled up graph paper. A plane flies over the ocean and drops sky divers. Tap them to open their parachutes and make sure they land safely on the ship. Make sure your guys don’t get eaten the the wild sharks or get abducted by UFO aliens, and watch out for those pesky evil clouds. This game is joy to play, its very light and upbeat with its jiggling hand stick figure graphics and jive singing background music and voice overs. Yet its not very easy to keep winning, you gotta learn all the tricks and use them wisely. The developer has already added a new level called “easy mode” to get you acquainted with the game. Lose more than 5 guys and you’re toast. Other than the fact that its “tough” to keep winning, even in easy mode, we think Parachute Panic is innovative, fun and exciting enough that we would recommend it as a good buy for anyone looking for a quality challenging iPhone game.

Tricks and stuff to know about Parachute Panic:
– Tap and drag your parachute men to move them towards a safe landing area.
– Make wind to control falling speed. Drag anywhere in the sky to create wind. You can use upward flick to push a parachuter up, and give them more time to land, or flick down for a downward wind and push people down faster.
– Blow stuff Up! Tap 3 times on UFOs or Helicopters and watch’em explode
– Don’t get zapped by lightning coming out of the clouds
– Feeling brave? Get bonus points for taking risks; meaning waiting till the last minute to pull the cord!
– If you forget to pull the cord, your guy will bounce off and splash into the ocean, not a good thing
– Red arrows warn you about dangerous stuff coming up, so you can prepare
