nru pronounced “near you” from lastminute apps is an iPhone app for the UK audience that uses the iPhone GPS to locate and display stuff around you. Wherever you are, the nru app will show you the nearest places to go, from bars and restaurants to cinemas and cafes. As you turn to face different directions, the view will change so you always know which way to go. nru gets it’s content from Qype, the local search and recommendation website, and fonefood, a mobile restaurant booking service. nru works best with compass capable iPhone 3GS models.
