Armin Only Imagine review

Looking for some emotion and joy in your iPhone? If you’re a fan of Superstar Dutch DJ Armin Van Buuren, you should take a look at the Armin Only Imagine iPhone app in the UK App Store developed by IceMobile. The app is a collection of live videos from Armin van Buuren’s ‘Armin Only’ concert for the iPhone and iPod Touch. You can watch the complete performance of his sold-out Armin Only concert at the Jaarbeurs venue in Utrecht. The concert was was one of the highlights of the number one DJ’s career.

“I’m excited about the opportunity to use the App Store as another way to make my music and performances available to fans,” said Armin van Buuren. “We’ve only just begun to test the limits of what is possible and we’ll be asking fans for their feedback so we can deliver amazing apps for iPhone and iPod touch in the future.”

You tap on a list of video thumbnails, very much like a DVD chapter list, to watch specific songs from the show. After each song is done playing, it stops and takes you back to the menu. It would be great if there was an option to have all the clips play continuously. The Armin Only app is an enourmous download coming in at 1.14GB, and will take up considerable space, but the sound and video quality of the content is superb. The songs performed include:
