JellyRadio review

The JellyRadio iPhone app connects you to JellyRadio.com featuring fresh hip-hop tunes. JellyRadio allows you to listen live to JellyRadio.com while on the go and could be good for a source of music while in the car. From the Player menu, you can view a list of stations, see the list of previously played songs, view a digital bar graph and album art.

JellyRadio lets you chat live with the featured DJ and other listeners. All you have to do is to log in via JellyFish (http://jellyfish.jellyradio.com), an online community created by JellyRadio.com. JellyRadio has an edge when it comes to sound quality as it features a 3D effect that creates a fuller sound making it much better than a regular radio stations or even an audio CD. The stations are broadcast at 192, 128, 96, 64 and 48 kbps. This iPhone app also gives you to access to exclusive promotions and events featured on the station.

If you’re in to Hip-hop, then JellyRadio iPhone app is the app for you. If not, then there are other stations like Absolutely Smooth Jazz, XRM Alternative, Vocal Trance, Mostly Classical, Oldies, World Net Radio, Salsa, Country, Roots Reggae, and Art Bell. The graphics are average and at $1.99 Jelly Radio is probably slightly overpriced, but still streams quality music. Definitely keep a lookout for a sale or price drop on this one.
