Jirbo is great, but flashcubes is a blemish on their reputation.
another excellent app for studying vocab is Flash of Genius: SAT Vocab. teaches latin and greek roots to solidify knowledge of the words and help you guess meanings of words you don’t know. gets other details right like good sentences and stuff.
