With the TVU Player app for the iPhone, you can watch Live TV from around the world right on your iPhone over fast internet connections on WiFi. There are over 300 channels including NewsAsia, Sports, CNBC TV, CNN IBN, CNBC awaaz, IBN Lokmat, Dawn News, various soccer stations and many other popular TV stations from around the world.

You can browse the featured channels or search for channel content by keyword. Listings show the bandwidth level, name and description of the programming. Watching starts after the TVU Players is finished buffering the stream from the TV channel.

Overall this is probably one of the best Live TV apps you made for the iPhone that is available for free. The downside is that you need to have a high speed connection to watch TV on your iPhone. And even if you do, the streams are not perfect and from time to time may have skipping in them or be down all together.

About TVU: TVU networks offers a free global live TV service that you can watch on your Windows PC over a broadband Internet connection. TVU uses a new broadcast technology called Real-Time Packet Replication. With this technology, all the viewers who are watching a channel at the same time are cooperating to give everyone the best possible signal.

1. The app is worthy of becoming a 5-star knockout, but it lacks fullscreen capabilities. If it had this feature the app would be many times greater than it is currently and consequently would have alot more hits than it does presently. Please consider adding this feature to the app in an updated version sometime in the near future. Your efforts will be rewarded God willing.

3. I paid and download TVU player in my iphone, when I use a couple of minutes, the network lost and ask me to restore my iphone, then I restart phone and get network back, pls advise me why it happened and how I can resolve the problem, thanks.

8. I am not able to find CNBC TV18, CNN IBN, CNBC awaaz channels on TVUPlayer while using it from my iphone . Can anyone please advice how can i view these channels .

15. i bought this app about 4 months ago, and was able to see TV stations, Very nice app. BUT lately it does no show a single station anymore, sorry guys. 🙁
    i always get connection error !
