The Postcards app from WYWH makes dull postcards a thing of the past with Wish You Were Here (WYWH) Cameraphone Postcards. Send a real physical 4.25″ x 6″ color postcard personalized postcard from your iPhone to anyone with a few clicks. WYWH Postcards prints and mails your photo as a postcard. Caption the front if you want. There’s plenty of room on the back for your message. Pick an address from your Contacts, and that’s where we’ll mail it. First 2 postcards are free, and after that a postcard costs $1.99

It takes a minimum of 14 days for your postcards to get to someone in my experience trying the first two for free. That was the one a colleague sent. I sent one on 5/9 and it still hasn’t reached its destination. Is that as good as it gets or what? I guess if I’m gone for a month then it’s a decent app, but for normal vacations this isn’t worth it. For now, I will opt for a different service and advise my constituency to do the same.
