This is a great app. Very useful, very solid. Extremely high quality sounds, very easy to use, and makes me happy to go to sleep at night and wake up in the morning. This is my favorite app for the iphone.
Posted on October 16th, 2008 at 6:54 am by manbinderI just bought Tranquil Alarm earlier this week, and while conceptually i like it very much, and when it’s sitting on my desk i like it, but at nite it’s *horrible* – is there any way you can reduce the light coming out of the iPhone? In a darkened room it lights the place up – And even when I put it face down on the nightstand, there’s light leaking out the edges!

I tried setting the overall iphone brightness to it’s lowest value, and this is still too much light.
If you’re not able to make this change, how do I go about getting my money back?
I agree, the light coming off the phone is shocking. Further to this, it kills my battery life, with the battery half charged, it was flat by morning and didnt wake me up!
Conceptually, great idea, but need a way to kill the display and save battery power.
