Stitcher Radio 2.0 is out in the app store and give you streaming access to a large library of podcasts from a variety of topics including TechCrunch, ESPN, NPR, MSNBC, Fox News, Slate, CNN, The Onion, and a bunch more. It is called Stitcher, because you can stitch together stations you like to form your very own “Radio” station mixed from any topic you like. There are also some pre-configured stations of content pre-combined together. Creating an account allows you to combine the iPhone experience with the web version of Stitcher. Searching for content is provided and works quite nicely. You can set SMS text alerts to know immediately as your favorite stations release new content podcasts. Best of all, Stitcher Radio is a free for your iPhone and iPod touch.

Awesome App! The first version had some issues on my phone, but Stitcher 2.0 is perfect — my fave app.
