This is a good app but the only stations i can get to work are BBC stations. Does anyone know of a site that has links to other streams? I am specifically looking for a Kerrang Radio stream but all the ones i have tried the app will not connect too 🙁
Posted on July 18th, 2009 at 8:11 am by c0daNice little app, very stable, simple, easy to use.
One criticism… you should be able to use the app in the background when utilising other features or apps on the iPhone, visiting iCal, Contacts, Texts etc. When one navigates away from FStream the app, and the radio station being listened to, shuts down.
Posted on July 22nd, 2009 at 5:57 am by Stephen WalmsleyCould this app be any simpler? Wow, I couldn’t believe how fast I was able to plug in a couple of Windows Media streams (MMS:/***). And how do they do this for free? While no app is perfect, that fact that you can use this to stream WMA is incredible. Thank you FStream!
Posted on July 27th, 2009 at 4:14 pm by StuartHats off to the developer for releasing it on app store 🙂 Excellent app, now I can listen to all those websites streaming audio in .asx format

Well done.
This is what online music is REALLY all about.
Even though we are the doyennes of electronic music, and as the 1st internet radio (established in 1995) we have watched while every limped lamely into the future 10 years late, we have a HUGE soft spot for BBC Radio 3… And now we can listen to it on our iPhones… Culture comes for FREE..
Thanks!

@Gordana the app does work in the background if you have iOS4.0 or higher and a iPod touch 3th edition or iPhone 3GS or 4.
Posted on August 18th, 2010 at 2:54 am by RobinI just don’t get it. Maybe fstream isn’t the app for my needs. I listen to shoutcast radio app on my iphone. I wanted the ability to record a internet stream of a talk show. I thought fstream would do it. I use the AT&T 3G network to listen. I downloaded fstream app thinking i could do a search for shoutcast OR the title/talk show and it would show up, i record the stream, and listen to it again later in the day. I just can’t find shoutcast OR the show title. What am i doing wrong? Detailed instructions would be helpful. As a side note i also tried snowtape app and that isn’t doing what i need also.
