Ben Color Capture review

Finding and matching colors and paint has never been easier or more fun that with your iPhone. Ben Color Capture is a neat iPhone app from the paint folks at Benjamin Moore that makes it a snap to find and match great colors to use for your next paint job in your home or office project. Take a picture of anything with your iPhone that has the color you want and the Color Capture app shows you a nice strip of colors that have the closest paint color match highlighted. Give your phone a simple shake and your ben app will give you four coordinating colors that create a perfectly harmonizing palette based on the original color. There are a ton of colors all with their names shown in the Ben Color app. You can also experiment with any existing photos you have on your iPhone and come up with new ideas using the Ben Color Capture app.

Note that digital photo colors may not be a precise match to the actual paint colors. You should always bring physical objects with you to the store to match them against the colors you are thinking about.
