My Name is E for iPhone is an app that lets you exchange virtual business cards called “E” from iPhone to iPhone or iPod touch just by flicking your wrist. In addition to exchanging cards like other apps such as Bump, the My Name is E iPhone app makes sure that you automatically get friended on your selected social networks. To use the E app on your iPhone you need to create an account with at mynameise.com and set up various business cards, customize them with links to your favorite social networks in E, and then just pick a card you want to share and flick iPhones towards each other to exchange your E cards.

The Trail tabs shows your sent and received connection requests, updated cards, new contacts and a lot more in the future. Contacts in My Name is E are easily syncable with your iPhone’s address book. You can also jot down personal notes for new contacts, just like you can on old fashioned cards. By far the best couple of features in the My Name is E iPhone app are the use of gestures like flicking your wrist to connect with other phones, and the ability to automatically get connected on the selected social networks like Facebook, Twitter, Myspace, LinkedIn and more easily while exchanging business cards on your iPhone.
