It’s an iPad application that gives you the experience of seeing a real fireworks show. This app is ideal for the holidays such as the Fourth of July and the New Year celebration festivities. The app is compatible with first and second generation iPads and sells for only 99 cents. If you enjoy watching fireworks, this application is for you.

The simple user interface allows you to customize the fireworks show. The options menu gives you five different color modes, allowing you to change the color of the fireworks. In addition to the color modes, Real Fireworks HD 2012 gives users the option of changing the explosion size and the particle size. I enjoyed watching the fireworks get bigger and bigger as I modified the size of the explosions.

I was rather surprised with the graphics and animations on the iPad. Upon first glance, Real Fireworks HD 2012 didn’t appear too impressive, yet I was pleasantly surprised when I used it on my iPad 2. The large display size of the iPad allows you to fully enjoy a beautiful fireworks show.

Real Fireworks HD 2012 is perfect for children and the entire family with vibrant fireworks. In addition to the color mode controls and the explosion size controls, you also have the ability to turn on the “Auto-play” feature, which allows the fireworks show to play on a loop. Real Fireworks HD 2012 also includes an interactive “Touch Glow” feature. With “Touch Glow,” the fireworks will glow when the user touches the screen.

Real Fireworks HD 2012 is an interesting app and worth downloading during the holidays, though probably not too practical for day to day use. Innovatty, LLC has done a fantastic job with the graphics and audio; it is almost like viewing an actual fireworks show. For only 99 cents, you are getting a quality iPad app that is enjoyable. If you can’t go out to view fireworks, this app can serve as a substantial substitute.
