Real Soccer 2009 review

How about Soccer (aka Futbol) on your iPhone? Plunge into the atmosphere of great soccer matches with Real Soccer 2009 from gameloft. This game sold in the App Store comes with 198 teams, each with real player names from FIFA, 12 stadiums in 3D and more. The game supports paying in many different modes, like a Cup mode and Penalty kick mode. Assign any of 15 different formations to your team. Other options include weather, time of day, volume, extra time, golden goal, silver goal and more. The game audio sounds too real. The crowd reacts to palyer moves and chants. The referee whistle and the announcer notes red or yellow cards issued, then the giant crowd chants “Ole Ole Ole Ole” and then “Gooooooaal” after you score.

Touch the on screen directional buttons for running around the pitch and tilt the iPhone to perform a throw in! There are also two buttons (A and B) on the right.

Some cool soccer moves you can do:
Regular Shot: A
Regular Pass: Tap or hold B. The harder you press the farther you pass.
Lob Passes: Push B and flick up your thumb or Press B and drag your thumb to the left.
Faking a Shot: Press A and drag your thumb to the right.

Next version is to come with multi-player mode to let you play over WiFi with your friends.
