Taxi Jam review

Taxi Drive is a challenging time and resource management game for the iPhone where your job as the cab driver is to navigate through some of world’s most iconic city streets to pick up your fare before they get fed up waiting and change their mind. Get to them in time, then drop them at their destination as fast as you can to earn points. The game starts out in New York, where a ton of crazy streets start filling up with random passengers that need to be taken to one of three different destinations. Drag a cab out of the station and have it stop in front an awaiting passenger just by drawing a path with your finger. It gets more challenging as you go when you have to manage multiple taxi cabs in the city and an increasing number of awaiting passengers that want your services. Once you drive to a passenger a colored circled lights up which tells you where they want to be taken to.

Look out for danger spots. Obviously you can have any cabbies colliding with each other. Random fire trucks and police cars also take up precious street space and you have to make sure not to be in their paths or you lose a life. Also if a passenger doesn’t get picked up in time, you lose a life. Each game gives you a total of 5 lives. Score points for each passenger safely delivered. Overall Taxi Jam is a wonderfully designed iPhone game with beautiful graphics, great sounds, and intuitive tap and slide controls, which will have you coming back to play it over and over again to perfect your skills. If you like Flight Control, Harbor Master, Taxi Drive and similar games, you’ll love Taxi Jam!
