App Genie review

Need some units converted? Or perhaps the week’s weather forecast? Or maybe how to write something in Japanese? Well, GP Import’s latest iPhone app, App Genie, has got you covered. With over 26 applications and utilities (there’s a bonus utility that has to be unlocked), it’s easy to whip this app out for just about anything you might need throughout the day (except perhaps with mixing your drink). As you can see, App Genie has nearly every useful tool you can think of…and some you haven’t. Presented in a familiar set-up–it highly resembles the iPhone’s layout itself–with simple icons, it is easy to navigate, although a scroll through the User’s Guide would probably help in learning all the little nuances of every tool. Unfortunately, some tools cannot be used if you do not have GPS, 3G, or WiFi access, which is slightly a bummer. But if you’re looking to clear up some screen/memory space, then you’d be hard-pressed to find a more encompassing iPhone app out there. GP Imports can only go up from here.
