The Parcel iPad and iPhone app by Ivan Pavlov is a great tool for tracking shipments from different delivery service providers. If you track shipping for business or you are a compulsive online shopper, you will come to rely on the Parcel iPhone and iPad app to stay on top of it all.

It is easy to enter tracking numbers. You select a delivery service. According to the Parcel iPhone and iPad app’s website, the app currently covers 70 carriers. By a quick adjustment in the settings menu, you can establish your delivery service home page for swift data entry.

For each shipment tracked, you are required to enter a name and the tracking number. You can track your shipment within the app, or with one touch, you are connected to the delivery service’s website and the specific shipment’s tracking information. For a shipment I tracked, I appreciated the ability to open the app and pull up the information in two touches. However, if you want to receive notifications of delivery events or want to track more than three deliveries at the same time, then you can upgrade to a paid subscription. The notifications are based on your specified time zone and are not sent to disturb your sleep. The current price for the extended in-app purchase version is $1.99 and is a great value for the features provided–particularly for those who track shipments for business. With your iPhone and iPad, you can have all of the information at your fingertips at a moment’s notice.

I only wish I had discovered the Parcel iPhone and iPad app before Christmas. My husband and I are frantic, last minute Christmas shoppers, and we could barely keep up with the shipments. In fact, I thought I had hidden presents from myself, but they had not yet arrived. Next year, we’ll be in great shape with the help of the Parcel iPhone and iPad app.
