FourTrack review

FourTrack is a songwriting and practice tool for singers, guitar players, piano players, and other musicians who want to capture musical ideas and record songs on their iPhone. Recording with FourTrack consists of just three simple steps:

FourTrack works with the iPhone headset mic, or an iPod touch 2nd Gen* with a third-party mic and headphones. Everything is recorded at true 16-bit, 44.1 kHz quality. Everything from the multi-touch fader, to the spinnable pan wheel was designed with the iPhone in mind. Fine-tune playback position with the shuttle wheel, and slide-to-record makes sure you never record over that solo by accident. WiFi Sync allows FourTrack recordings to be downloaded to any desktop computer with a browser. Tracks can then be loaded into any recording software, including RiffWorks, to continue working on songs. Read what’s new with FourTrack v1.2.
