Halo Waypoint

For those who enjoy the Halo series, possessing the ability to play Reach from anywhere in the world using an iPod touch, iPad, or similar mobile device is particularly impressive. Thanks to the development of the Halo Waypoint iPhone app by the Microsoft Corporation, players are able to take their mobile gaming experience even further with a vast assortment of bonus features that can enhance Reach dramatically.

Unlike many similar iOS apps, this product is not a game. Instead, it is a free application that provides advanced features that can greatly benefit those who play Reach. Although casual Reach players who do not play regularly or who do not play with others may not be able to take advantage of the additional abilities available, serious Reach players will find that the data and features provided can be immensely valuable for dominating Reach and becoming a significantly better player.

Before the app can be used, however, it is necessary to first purchase Reach. One of the most prominent advantages of the app is that the ATLAS feature allows users to gain significant insight into the progress of current multiplayer and firefight games. When the ATLAS feature is used, players can view overhead maps of existing battles and watch the progress unfold. These maps provide detailed information, such as weapon and vehicle locations, and even give near real-time scores and position data to help team’s dominate their opponents. Along with the ATLAS feature, another captivating element of the app is the ability to create Custom Challenges for Reach.

Using the Custom Challenge feature, users can choose upon a game type, the specific goal or objective, the score one needs in order to reach the goal, and a time limit. Once these factors have been decided and the Custom Challenge has been created, users can invite their friends to compete at the challenges in Reach. One additional aspect of the app that is particularly impressive is the ability to access Career progress. Using the Career feature will allow users to view their past history, campaign progress, weapon usage, enemies killed, and various other statistics that pertain to their Reach gameplay. Additionally, it is possible to connect with Xbox Live friends using the Career feature.

Overall, the Halo Waypoint app is an immensely valuable tool for anyone with an iPhone or iPad, containing a plethora of features. For those who are serious about getting the most from Reach, one of the most advanced tools available is the Waypoint iphone app.
