Playing 100 Rogues is a lot like running into a smokin' hot cosplayer at a con. At first, you're just taken in by how attractive they are, the inherent sexiness enhanced by the awkward nerd herd clustered around them. Then you notice the costume. After examining the elaborate details and obsessive desire… read app review

Popular racing anime Initial D and blockbuster racing movies helped make "drifting" a household term (don't try this at home, kids). Even the Mario Kart series has a drifting feature. Now Skiproach Studios brings you a game app called Drift 'n' Burn, a racing game that is all about drifting to beat your… read app review

“Objection!” Phoenix Wright is one of the most popular and best loved series available on the Nintendo DS, and with the original game almost impossible to find, it was a total win to see it appear in the App Store for a fraction of the DS price. A very straightforward port of the… read app review

Part photography, part art, ToonPAINT is a surprisingly delightful app. I'm absolutely wretched at drawing, but ToonPAINT makes creating custom portraits as simple as using a coloring book. Instead of sharpening your images, ToonPAINT strips out all color and reduces photos to simple lines, making them look like black and white drawings. That in… read app review

Sometimes simple is better, and there is no better example of this than Unblock Me. There is almost no better app available to introduce a total tech newbie to the wonders of iPhone gaming. Unblock Me is clean, intuitive, and, best of all, a tremendous value. Using the iPhone is a far… read app review

Who knew the Amazon had so much random junk in it? Amazon: Hidden Expedition is a gorgeous hidden object game released by Big Fish Studios that has you prowling the Amazon rainforests in search of things like hamburgers and roller skates. Presumably they all assist you in some way, although I'm not entirely… read app review

“Retro rally racing” sounds like something Scooby Doo would say, but that's what this little game is all about. An isometric racer that takes you back to a simpler digital era, when NES reigned supreme and games were really, really hard. Cubed Rally Racer is also plenty of fun, but be prepared for death and… read app review

We often hear dissatisfaction over how the news is presented to the public--in fact, we may be the ones expressing it. But in this world of modern technology and obsessive connectivity, there's an new option for watching the news: through the eyes (and cellphones) of regular, everyday citizens. LiveLeak is a video-sharing… read app review
