Flava is a lifestyle iPhone app that allows you to document, backup, and share your online and offline interests. The Flava iPhone app encourages you to not only capture an interesting discovery, but also to share your impressions in words, emoticons, and graphics. Because, what would social media be without a happy face and a heart?
The Flava iPhone app could be considered a journal for the 21st century. As you surf the web while waiting in line to check out at Trader Joe’s, you run across an absolutely hilarious blog that your next door neighbor’s cousin writes. You copy the url to Flava, type “ROFL,” and click save. Then, you can come back to that blog when you’re home noshing hummus and carrots.
Flava currently has seven different opportunities to “journal.” You can choose to include text, take photos directly from the Flava app, photos from an existing album, Google places, music, Google books, and urls. When I played around with Flava’s features, I took a picture of my younger son and typed in the ridiculously awesome compliment he shared with me on his way to school this morning. Flava allowed me to capture that moment quickly and easily in its clean, modern aesthetic. One day, I won’t be the “most epic, beast Mom ever,” and I’ll want to revisit this morning’s beauty.
Flava is also a must have for bloggers and those who live extremely out loud online. You can choose to upload to Facebook, Tumblr, and Twitter by tapping on the screen. The cool thing is you choose which items you want to share and how you want to share it. If you own a clothing retail store, then you’ll want to upload a picture of a fantastic new dress to your Tumblr blog and Facebook fan page. But, you may also want to tweet the image and your excitement about having the product to the dress designer.
Another interesting feature is your ability to sync with Evernote or backup to Dropbox. You can save to iTunes as well, but Dropbox addicts will be crazy about this feature. I backed up to my Dropbox to test the application, and it worked seamlessly. The FAQs on the app seemed to imply that there was a problem with this feature, but it was not a problem for me.
The Flava iPhone app is a lifestyle app that can be customized to fit how you document and share your lifestyle. In a world full of blinking lights, Flava will allow you to recall the things you love and find intriguing quickly and easily.

I like Flava’s clean and intuitive UI. It is a piece of brilliant work. I like to use Flava unfortunately it does not support iCloud and a desktop version for Mac is not available. It will be wonderful if Flava has iCloud support and is available on Mac App Store.
