Apple has release an update to the firmware for the iPhone today. This is version 1.1.4 and is deemed to be the last release before Apple releases the SDK next month.
The update file size is 162.1 MB.
Sources have already confirmed that ZiPhone from Zibri is able to successfully jailbreak this version of the firmware, while others are reporting specific problems as expected.
iNdependence, the Mac based Cocoa jailbreaker has been updated and can jailbreak 1.1.4 as well.

Form Zibri’s blog today:
“DO NOT UPGRADE TO 1.1.4
ZiPhone will work with 1.1.4.
But I need to FULLY test it and do a few
adjustments.
In the meanwhile, enjoy the KEY 🙂
Stay tuned.

What does version 1.1.4 have from 1.1.3?
Posted on February 26th, 2008 at 2:25 pm by JohnUnfortunately we can’t find a changelog from Apple. But mostly bug fixes and some changes gearing up for the SDK. Also:
Posted on February 26th, 2008 at 3:17 pm by Appmin* Better RF reception
* Overall improvement in device responsiveness (switching apps, opening photos, etc.)
* SMS ordering bug is fixed and text messages now appear in proper order
* Faster browsing when connected via WiFi compared to 1.1.3 (could be quite subjective)

Posted on April 20th, 2008 at 9:01 pm by ricky arellanoi bought an ipod touch last week, and all of a sudden it was playing up. i tried to touch a screen on anything, play music or see photos, but it would just go back to the home. so this really pissed me off, coz i just bought it a week ago for my bday. to fix it, i had to take everything off it, and waste the battery until it was 10%, then when i was charging it, i put everything back on it and now it works. it really sucks because the battery wastes quikly if u r on safari. and it doesnt even last 22 hours when you are playing music. it just lasts me half a day, which sucks.
