Favorelli by iXpoint GmbH is the complete guide to shopping for anything that has to fit you in some way on the iPhone. When out looking for clothing or accessories, there are tons of different sizes a person must keep track of; attach a large, expansive family on and that number only grows exponentially. This app stores sizes, from the ring finger to the waist, for you and anybody else. The app costs $1.99 and is compatible with an iPhone, iPod Touch, or iPad.
Favorelli holds the information of 20 people or less and what’s more your contacts can be synchronized with the information in this app. To start with, you create profiles for everyone and enter their sizes. Although the process of discovery, input, and customizing for even one person is time consuming, you save time and money in the end. Once you start a person’s profile, you can choose up to 54 different items to customize. The item categories include, Accessories—which by the way is spelled “Accessoires” giving away that English is probably not the developer’s first language—Body Measurements, Footwear, Lower Body, Outfits, Underwear, and Upper Body. Within each of the categories are up to 9 subcategories, which are thorough and definitely get creative. In Accessories, or “Accessoires,” Contact Lenses is listed and under Footwear there is “Hold-Up Socks.” You go into any of the subcategories to input the appropriate size and, if necessary, you can add notes to the bottom. The app also automatically sets up a countdown to the birthdays of everyone you enter in. Most of the people I know despise shopping, especially for clothing. Favorelli also includes a size convertor with international size charts.
Favorelli is a helpful and useful app. I can’t say that I have ever thought about using something like this. I’m sure it fits some kind of niche but honestly I don’t see a need for it in my life. If you have children or a significant other who you are always shopping for, or you are a stylist, I can understand why you would want to invest in something like Favorelli. I don’t think I am ever going to set aside hours of my day to enter every single sizable portion of my, or other’s, bodies.

Hi Vanessa, I’m Sibel, the poor girl you caught misspelling “Accessoires” in Favorelli’s English localization!
Posted on July 24th, 2010 at 6:05 am by Sibel SenerSince your review I’m being constantly teased by my coworkers here 😉
Though I learned English not only in school but also in childhood from our American neighbours (who even took me to a “vacation” in Parris Island), I struggled when translating Favorelli – all those special terms for fashion pieces and technical advice really didn’t come naturally.
I’m pledging to make this right in the very next update. Really!
Regarding your impression that a user has to spend a large amount of time to get Favorelli up and running, the concept is quite the opposite: users can fill out their or other one’s sizes step-by-step as they encounter or learn them. This way, their archive gets more complete & refined over time.
As you mentioned in the end, we’re getting rave reviews here in Germany from hubbys finally being able to get their wives something fitting!
So many, many thanks for your review and for catching my major translation error – which made my day!
Unfortunately it’s a widespread problem with applications of any kind: you have to put in data first, before you get the value back.

And it was a lot of fun, too. Just going through my clothes and check the sizes. Believe me: it was a big clean-out. And than, empowered by Favorelli a huge shopping tour ;-))
Hi Sibel: thanks for this wonderful app!
The developer from Favorelli has provided AppSafari readers with some promocodes for this wonderful app.
Please take one and leave a comment about the app after you use it.
