Metallica Revenge review

Metal up your iPhone! Revenge is coming back to your iPhone and they are bringing the gods of metal with them. Metallica fans around the world will be excited to hear about the release of the iPhone app called Metallica Revenge, which brings the adrenaline pumped music of one of the most influential heavy metal artists of all time to your iPhone as a game. With classic hits such as Master of Puppets and Seek and Destroy, you are sure to be headbanding and finger tapping in no time. So if you can’t afford the pricey cost of admission to see them live, Metallica Revenge on the iPhone could possibly be your least expensive choice for experiencing some aspects of the live show on your mobile.

After other artists such as NIN entered the iPhone app marketplace, there are now more and more rock bands including Alice in Chains, Lady Gaga, Coldplay, and now Metallica using the App Store as their ticket to reaching their younger fan base. The graphics are a bit more edgy than the mainstream TTR3 game while maintaining great features such as head-to-head mode so you can challenge your buddies live. Considering the crazy fast riffs James Hetfield and Kirk Hammet shred through, Metallica revenge is no picnic requiring blazing fast reaction times and familiarity with the songs doesn’t hurt either.

The app is not free, but costs $4.99 which is by far more economical than the price of admission to one of Metallica’s infamous live gigs these days. As quoted by the group’s drummer Lars Ulrich “It’s not about the money or revenue or some master plan. This stuff all falls in the fun category.” A must have iPhone game for Metallica fans around the world.
